Recently we've been researching into something that quite frankly shocked us here at the office. It involves fiction becoming fact and more importantly a widely misunderstood truth. I'm anticipating that, like myself you thought Death as a character, or "The Grim Reaper" was a fictional character created by popular fiction over the past few centuries. We can now report, this is not the case. It actually turns out that Death is one of the four horseman of the apocalypse featuring in the book of Revelations. Now, yes this is a story and also highly fictional. However, there are certain Christians who take the book of Revelations literately. Which means only one thing, they have to believe there is a Grim Reaper type called Death, waiting to take each and everyone of our lives. Now if all that wasn't revealing and shocking enough, here's the real point. For decades black has been associated with Death or the Reaper, hell, most dark fashion collections are based on that fact. But the truth is, Death does not wear black. He in-fact wears pale green and rides a pale green horse. Think back to fashion pieces or shows based on this infamous character, think of costumes in films and culture. The fact is technically they are all completely wrong. So next time you're looking for that edgy, sinister outfit just remember, if Death were around he'd be wearing a lovely shade of green..... - J.Mills
