Caroline Charles Autumn Winter 2010 For Autumn Winter 2010 Caroline Charles continued with her light hearted and cute style. Polka dots, frills and smiling models swung down the runway with bright red lips. This playful collection showcased a very different theme with pilot hats, ear muffs and very simple yet classy cuts. Colour was brought in with intricate beading on dresses with colourful head pieces. This brought a new, bohemian element to the runway from the browns, blacks and greens which made up the first half of the show. Fabrics included thick tweeds, velvets and faux furs providing a real winter atmosphere. This paired with leather gloves and belts in a very cool mint colour, contrasted against the muted shades of the collection and brought an extra layer to the garments. Caroline Charles has certainly portrayed a very traditional English feel with her Autumn Winter 2010 collection and we are excited to see what she produces next season. Alison James
