Ok so you may have heard about Kanye West and Amber Rose's antics at Paris Fashion Week and how some of the fashion press have been slamming both of them so much that it sparked a reaction from Kanye himself. Now, when people start trying to stop progression we have to step in and set things right. Those traditionalist, pedestrian fashion writers, journalists and thinkers might as well pack up and go home now. If you want to stick to tradition by 2015 you'll be out of a job and most likely a home. You really think that print media will be-able to beat magazine applications on the iPad? You really think that your beloved PR won't need to adapt to social and guerilla marketing, then you'll be sadly mistaken. Basically the bottom line is we need progression, both in this industry and for man-kind. If you want to rest on your laurels be our guest but you won't have contributed one single thing to this race, at which point your entire life will have been a complete monumental waste of time. Kanye & Amber are simply taking what is on the catwalks and pushing it that one step further. Those garments that the public wont dare wear because it's too revealing or don't have the courage to pull off. We need people to push forward avant garde, to push forward more intense fashion. Why? If we don't push boundaries then there are no new paths formed, no new options discovered and most importantly, no competition in which to strive on. The next person to try and slam Amber Rose's Fashion Week looks can come through us first and you won't be getting past. . . FACT Images Via Kanye West Blog
