Paul Smith has been a drinker of Evian for many years, so when Evian water asked him to design their latest bottle he simply couldn't refuse. The memories of drinking Evian from an early age is what makes this project special to him, stating: "Right from the age of 12, I've been drinking Evian, so this is a true story". The bottle design is kept sleek and contemporary, encompassing Paul Smith's signature colours which are playfully swirled, if not wrapped around the top of the bottle design. "I wanted to use lovely bright colours, the colours that I use every day (which are) full of energy and fun" he says. This vibrant and joyful design reflects on the mantra of Evian, something that Paul Smith agrees on. When it comes to living life the Evian motto "Live Young" is not far from Paul Smith's view that we should behave in a child-like manner, having a lateral mind, always curious, living life for today and appreciating the little things. Here at Stylenoir we adore this design, as huge fans of both Paul Smith and Evian this collaboration really couldn't have turned out better in our opinion. When a project is completed without compromise and with truth, this is simply the result. We also love those Paul Smith photos, his character and persona shown brilliantly in each image, from the elongated straw, to the cheeky and playful photos of him hiding behind the bottle cap, brilliant!
